Professional and Caring Staff

Ron Steege, USPTA, rons@GreenwoodATC.com, our Director of Tennis, has been teaching tennis full time for over 24 years. Prior to coming to Greenwood, he was a Director with the prestigious John Gardiner organization at various locations throughout the country. Ron was named the USPTA Intermountain’s six state region 2001 Professional of the Year, the 2002 and 2004 certification Tester of the Year and the 2006 and 2008 Facility Manager of the Year.

Kristi McCauley, Office Manager, kristim@GreenwoodATC.com. Kristi has been our Office Manager since October of 2003. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she earned her degree in Psychology. Kristi is an active league player and is captain of one of our ladies 4.0 USTA teams, her husband Gary is an active 4.5 league competitor and together they enjoy playing with their three children ages 13, 17 and 19.

Ryan Haith, USPTA, ryanh@GreenwoodATC.com , our Head Professional, has nine years of teaching experience, four on the staff at Greenwood. Prior to coming to Greenwood, he played college tennis at the University of Nebraska where he won a Big Xll championship. Ryan coaches several Intermountain ranked juniors.

Theo Teryazos, USPTA, theot@GreenwoodATC.com, has over nine years of teaching experience. He has served as Head Tennis Professional at the Georgia Association in East Hampton, New York and #1 Nautilaus Club in Ontario, Canada. Theo has also taught in Palm Beach, Florida and Colorado Athletic Club Monaco.

Suzette Riddle, USPTA, suzetter@GreenwoodATC.com, Suzette grew up in Potomac, Maryland where she was a nationally ranked junior player. She attended the University of Virginia on a tennis scholarship and earned a liberal arts degree. Following college, Suzette taught and coached players of all levels at several east coast tennis academies and clubs. In 2004, she became the first female tennis coach for the state champion Cherry Creek boys high school tennis team.

Kavan Hahn, USPTA, kavanh@GreenwoodATC.com, brings an extensive teaching background to Greenwood. He is a Colorado native and taught for nine years starting at the Fox Hill Country Club, then the Boulder Country Club. Kavan then moved on to become the assistant coach for the men’s and women’s teams at Wofford College in South Carolina for two years. Most recently he was the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Kavan played his college tennis at Azusa Pacific where he was a First Team All-American.

Rhona Kaczmarczyk, USPTA, rhonak@GreenwoodATC.com, has been teaching 18 years, including eleven years at Greenwood. Originally from Ireland, she was their #1 women’s player from 1982-1984. Rhona was an assistant coach at TCU and recently was named the USPTA Player of the Year and held the #1 USTA national ranking in her age group. Rhona is also a Registered Dietitian and a certified Personal Trainer.

Peggy Bernardis, USPTA, peggyb@GreenwoodATC.com, a Denver native, Peggy was ranked in the state and Intermountain region as a junior and attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California on a tennis scholarship. Peggy has been on staff at Greenwood Athletic Club since 1990 and is a recognized expert in teaching young children.
