Greenwood Member/Guest Tournament

Early this August marked our first annual member/guest tennis tournament hosted at the Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club.  The event had over 80 total participants and was just the tip of what we think will become one of our biggest events at the club.  Helping us get the event off to a great start was Greenwood’s own Jim Hering (owner of HW HOME) who graciously donated nearly $2,000 dollars’ worth of prizes for the event.  Combined with HW HOME were Hapa Sushi, A-Line and Players clothing companies which helped bring our total combined gifts up to nearly $5,000.    Next year, I hope to have participation up into the 100’s and make this a truly special event.  What better chance to show off your amazing tennis club to your friends than with the opportunity to win prizes to some outstanding stores and restaurants conveniently located in Landmark Square?  Please take a second to mark next year’s member/guest tournament on your calendars, and start training for it right now!
