Pilates Instructor

GATC is looking for a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor that enjoys all types of fitness and wants to work in a fully equipped studio where there are opportunities to grow your business as well as grow as a teacher. At Greenwood you have the opportunity to work side by side with a Master Instructor along with other seasoned instructors, who motivate and support our members and guests in making Pilates a lifestyle.  Looking for someone that wants to work 15+ hours/week.
Responsibilities include:  Developing safe, professional and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals; Instructing mat, private and group Pilates equipment based classes while maintaining the cleanliness of the Pilates studio; Developing and maintaining a Pilates client base; Promoting and selling Pilates training programs and classes to members; Achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and session goals.  Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume including current certifications, teaching experience and availability to Sara Talbert, Director of Pilates, at sarat@GreenwoodATC.com.

 

Age Group Coach - Tiger Shark Youth Swim Team

The Greenwood Tiger Sharks are seeking a part-time, year-around Age Group Coach.  This coach will manage groups and will design and conduct practices as well as assist Head Coach and Senior Coach. Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Age Group Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching assigned age groups of the Greenwood Tiger Sharks (GTS) Swim Team program, including on-deck for practices and at meets. Competitive swimming background and minimum two years coaching experience required. Must be registered with USA Swimming. ASCA Level 2 Certification or above preferred. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume including current certifications and coaching experience to Crystal Garland, Director of Aquatics, at crystalg@GreenwoodATC.com.

Boxing Instructor

Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club is seeking a boxing instructor to teach beginner to intermediate level participants on boxing techniques while providing a fun and energized environment. Must be able to coach a class of up to 10 participants in a non-competitive program focused on skill, technique and fitness.  Must be a USA Boxing Certified Coach with at least 2-3 years of previous teaching background.  Early morning to mid-day availability required. Kids' Club Attendant

The Kids' Club is looking for morning and daytime attendants to work with and care for children from infant to 12 years of age.  Applicants must be able to pass state background checks and must have or acquire CPR/AED certification. Group Fitness Instructor

 Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club is seeking group fitness instructors to teach the following formats:

  • Les Mills Programs: BODYPUMP, BODYSTEP and CXWORX
  • Indoor Cycling
  • Yoga: Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sculpt
  • Barre
  • INSANITY and  H.I.I.T.
  • Dance: UJAM and ZUMBA

Candidates must possess a current national certification and at least 2 years teaching experience in addition to a current format-specific certification. If you have a passion for fitness, helping others achieve their fitness goals and offering a group fitness experience like no other, we would love the opportunity to see if the GATC Fitness Team is right for you. Personal Trainer

Position requires a minimum of 12-32 hours of training per week. Responsibilities include assessing a client’s physical condition and creating and implementing a exercise program based on those assessments. Must have an NASM Personal Training certification, 2-5 years of experience in a health club environment and preferably possess a Bachelor’s degree in a exercise related field.
