KNOCK OUT TRAINING Some of the best athletes in the world are boxers! Now you can get a taste of how they train. Darren Meyer will train you like a boxer. You will work on footwork, jump rope drills, mitt work, heavy bag and conditioning exercises in a fun and friendly environment. Morning Class April 14-May 2 Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6-7am Cost $101 member / $201 Non-member Evening Class April 15-May 8 Tuesday and Thursday 6:15-7:15pm Cost $90 member/ $160 Non-member

OKINAWAN KARATE Shuri-Itasu is a style of traditional Karate from Okinawa that combines the hard / rigid techniques with soft / circular blocks. This style combines kicks, punches and blocks hard enough to interrupt or stop an opponent’s attack. Great for self-defense and for building confidence. Classes are taught by Master Brett Hart a national sparring champion and 7th degree black belt with over 25 years of teaching martial arts, who has also worked with the Denver Nuggets during the off season.

TEEN BOXING These classes, for 13-17 year olds, will develop basic boxing skills and provide a great workout. Boxing Specialist Darren Meyer will use conditioning drills (jump ropes, calisthenics and plyometrics) to help to enhance coordination and agility, and teach the basics of boxing without actually sparring. BOXING 101 Have you ever wanted to learn how to box and get into great shape while you’re at it? Your answer is Boxing 101 with conditioning coach and boxing enthusiast Darren Meyer. Darren will teach you boxing skills without the fear of getting hit using focus mitts, heavy bags, jump ropes, calisthenics and speed conditioning…just like the boxers! THESE BOXING PROGRAMS WILL RESUME IN THE FALL. TIMES AND DAYS TO BE DETERMINED.
