The indoor pool is scheduled to close for repairs on Monday, August 4 and will be closed for approximately five weeks. Please check the Pool Q & A (available online and at the front and activity desks) for and update on aquatic programs and services.

The weight room has been relocated to the south side of the gymnasium. There are a few pieces of equipment that we were unable to fit into the temporary space. A list of this equipment can be found at the Activity Desk and is posted on the wall in the temporary weight room.
The north side of the gymnasium is still available for drop-in basketball. In addition, an outdoor basketball court has been set up on tennis court #1. Access to the outdoor basketball court is through tennis court #2.
Group exercise classes are held as scheduled, in Studio 1 and 2. Access to both studios is around the outside of the temporary weight room and through Studio 2. There is no access to Studio 1 through the old weight room.
We anticipate at least seven weeks for completion of portions of the new weight room. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we “Make Your Club Even Better”.

The indoor pool renovation is scheduled to begin Monday, August 4, 2008. We anticipate five weeks for completion of the pool surface, tile and grouting.
A modified schedule for the outdoor pool has been posted in addition to an Indoor Pool Renovation Q & A which you will find posted on the website and throughout the club within the next few days.

The weight room will be closed on Sunday, July 27 at 2:00pm for relocation.
On Monday, July 28, 5:00am we will open with the weight room relocated in half of the gymnasium. We will have Trainers and Fitness Instructors available to help you locate your favorite pieces of equipment.
Drop-in basketball will continue to take place at the posted times in the other half of the gymnasium and outside on tennis court #1. We will provide portable basketball hoops and striping.

On Friday, July 18, the windows in the business office on the second floor will be removed to begin connecting the older building to the new building. This process will begin as early as 7:00am and will cause noise and vibration to occur in the weight room.
The dumbbells will be moved one foot from the mirror for safety purposes.

I2 Construction has done an amazing job constructing our new 2-story addition and we are happy to report that we are on schedule for the posted November 1, 2008 opening date!
On Monday, July 7 you will begin to see demolition of the existing space. The business/membership office has been relocated (see relocation post) to prepare for the demolition of this space. A temporary wall from Ethereal Day Spa to the front desk will be placed in the lobby on Monday, July 7 for the remainder of the construction. The slat walls with flyers, brochures and information will be moved to the temporary wall.

I would like to thank each of your for your patience and cooperation during the locker installation. There are a few items yet to be completed including, but not limited to, adding hangers to each locker and to the wardrobe closets in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms, adding a basket of magnifying glasses for those people who could use assistance in seeing the numbers on the digilock, and the addition of a few lockers in areas where there are openings or filler panels. We will also be placing a movable shelf in each of the half lockers. This shelf will be adjustable and will therefore allow members to modify the locker to either have greater length for hanging clothes or allow a separate space for shoes or valuables.
We appreciate the feedback received by all of our members and please know we are doing our best to accommodate all audiences.
One thing we have noticed is that members have a tendancy to approach a locker and immediately start putting in their 4-digit number thinking the locker is locked and needs to be unlocked. This is actually causing a number of the lockers to be locked without any belongings inside. Please contact the Activity Desk if you need any assistance with your locker.
